What do you associate Sweden with? Battle of Poltava, ABBA group, Swedish family or Swedish wall? And that is the birthplace of Ana Johansson, a doctor who made a real revolution in nutrition, devising such a diet as the "6-petalled diet".
The essence of the child
You can calm down immediately, you don't have to eat only six petals a day, the diet is more varied and in principle does not include eating flowers. Although Dr. Johansson promises that you can lose 5 kg on her diet in a week, which seems like an amazing result.
One petal is a one day diet, when you can eat only a certain amount of one type of food. The order of the day is important, so you can even draw yourself a six-petalled flower, write on each menu and serial number, and strictly follow the recommendations.
That is, by the way, the convenience of this child. No need to guess what you are going to eat. You clearly know your diet for the coming days.
This is a mono-diet to some extent, but the body does not have time to get used to one type of food and switch to energy-saving mode. In addition, studies have shown that mono-diets lasting less than one day are the most effective for burning fat.
The results in this diet are achieved by changing proteins and carbohydrates and reducing the number of calories consumed. You eat one type of food every day and do not mix proteins with carbohydrates, which allows you to break down fats more efficiently.
How can you cook food
Food can be cooked, stewed, baked or steamed, but it is strictly forbidden to fry or add oil. In addition, the author suggests limiting coffee consumption to 1-2 small cups a day. Of course, no sugar. According to her, it is better to drink tea or mineral water without gas in the amount of at least 1. 5 liters per day. But in no case should you drink liquid food, only 30 minutes before a meal or an hour after.
And so that the feeling of hunger does not overwhelm you, divide all the food into 4-5 receptions. And you don't have to stick to fixed intervals. Did you want to eat? He went and ate. Well, or drank green tea.
You can follow the diet for two weeks in a row. But don't forget to take a break for at least two weeks before the next attempt.
In addition, the diet is contraindicated:
- pregnant;
- breastfeeding mothers;
- In diseases of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, heart, endocrine system (especially diabetes);
- With anemia;
- In case of infection or immediately after illness;
- Exacerbation of any chronic disease.
However, although this is not a direct contraindication, it will be difficult for you to adhere to such a diet if you work. Therefore, it is better to save it for a holiday.
Flower diet - petals every day
And now let's take a closer look at what this Swede came up with.

On the first day, it is recommended to eat only fish, but not more than 500 grams. Of course, this should not be eaten in one breath, but divided into a whole day. From these 500 grams, you can make a couple of cutlets, bake fish in the oven or on the grill, cook stews, and even fish soup that will consist of water, spices and fish.

seventh petal
No, this is not an optical illusion. And, yes, you read the name of the child well. There are indeed six petals and you have to change six types of diet, but there is such an important thing as getting out of the diet. The day you realize you can do anything.
The main thing this day is not to relax so much as to regain half of what you lost. Someone recommends going out gradually and advises that for now you eat only those foods that you ate on the diet, only slightly increasing their portions.
Proponents of radical methods say that the easy way is not for us and suggest that we spend the seventh day exclusively on water. Which of these two options do you prefer - choose for yourself.
Of course, you can just wave your hand and immerse yourself again in the world of delicious cakes.
Why diet is good
Will this diet help you if you decide to lose weight? Definitely yes, the Swedes did their best. If you try, you will lose weight by 0. 6 - 0. 9 kg per day.
Can you survive it without failures? Also a positive response. The diet is quite simple and allows you to eat enough not to look with longing and nostalgia for a piece of bread.
However, for all its effectiveness, "6 petals" still does not solve the problem of your future diet. Six days of dieting will pass, and you will return to your usual diet, and she will already regain the lost weight. So, even if you are on this diet, it is best to see it as an opportunity to take a step towards a healthier future.
